Cim Behavior Improvements v1.0.1
The Cim Behavior Improvements Mod, now managed by Cities2Modding and originally created by DerangedTeddy, aims to enhance the AI behavior of Cims in Cities Skylines 2, focusing on realism and addressing issues like residential high rent warnings.
Key Features
Adult Education Adjustment
– Adult Cims with children are less likely to apply to school, mirroring real-life decision-making processes.
Detailed Birth Rate Adjustments
– Senior Cims (≥ 63 days old): Reduced likelihood of having children, mitigating the occurrence of senior Cims with young children.
– Partner’s Age Factor: If a Cim’s partner is also ≥ 63 days old, the usual increase in birth chance is not applied, reflecting realistic family planning.
– Student Status: Student Cims have a lower chance of having children (divided by four), as opposed to the game’s default division by two.
– Household Size Consideration: For households with four or more members, the chance of having an additional child is significantly reduced.
Student Stipend
– Provides a monthly stipend of $1,000 to student Cims for housing, aiding their financial stability and reducing high rent warnings.
High Rent Warning Suppression
– Households with over $1,000 in savings will not receive high rent warnings, recognizing their ability to manage rent for the foreseeable future.
