Residents are more than mere statistics; they breathe life into the game. They reside in your residential zones, fuel the workforce in the industrial, commercial, and office sectors, and sustain the vibrancy of commercial zones as consumers. They bear the brunt when services falter but, conversely, thrive when you adeptly navigate the challenges of city governance and address their diverse needs.
Your city’s denizens are always on the move, engaging in a myriad of activities. While many stick to routine tasks like working, attending school, shopping, or simply resting, some may occasionally find themselves in unique scenarios—engaging in criminal activities, fleeing the scene, seeking medical care, or even relocating. Such actions have ripple effects in the game’s simulation—commuting contributes to traffic patterns, shopping impacts economic dynamics, and medical visits occupy space in health facilities.
Pets are also part of the city’s ecosystem. Citizens randomly adopt these furry companions.
