Cities Skylines 2: Education
In Cities: Skylines II, citizens navigate through five distinct Education levels: Uneducated, Poorly Educated, Educated, Well Educated, and Highly Educated. Each educational institution uplifts citizens by one education level. Initially, children are classified as “Uneducated.” After completing Elementary School, their status rises to “Poorly Educated”. It’s crucial to provide adequate school capacity, as children inherently gravitate towards education.
High School is exclusively for teens, where they can elevate their standing to “Educated”. Both College and Universities cater to adults, with teens also eligible for college. Graduating from College bestows the title of “Well Educated,” while University alumni earn the prestigious “Highly Educated” rank.
The decision between academia and employment for teens and adults is influenced by a comparison of potential earnings. They juxtapose immediate job earnings with the prospective income from roles that necessitate advanced education. However, some citizens inherently lean towards employment, choosing immediate work over education, regardless of potentially higher future earnings from continued studies.
