Cities Skylines 2: Electricity Info View
The Electricity info view offers a comprehensive snapshot of your city’s electric grid. At a glance, you can gauge the city’s consumption versus its production via the Electricity Availability meter. Additionally, the Electricity Trade meter displays the dynamics of electricity trade, highlighting any imports or exports with Outside Connections. The Battery Charge meter gives insight into how much power is stored in the batteries across power plants and Emergency Battery Stations.
This view is rich with visual cues. For instance, the flow and direction of electricity in both low and high voltage cables are depicted. By hovering over these cables and power lines, you can ascertain the amount of electricity they’re transmitting and their maximum capacity. Buildings are color-coded in shades of yellow and orange, indicating their electricity consumption intensity. Meanwhile, power plants, transformers, and batteries are accentuated with distinct colors. Additionally, visual indicators like wind speed arrows and water flow directions can be toggled on or off for clarity.
