Cities Skylines 2 Should Avoid Content Removal
Colossal Order has officially announced the launch of Cities Skylines 2, ending an eight-year anticipation. The game is set to release in 2023 and is now available for wishlisting on Steam. The original game’s fanbase is already buzzing with excitement about what the sequel has in store. Colossal Order promises that the new game will be the most realistic city builder ever, raising expectations for an exceptional gaming experience. Here’s hoping that the game lives up to its promises.
Although the announcement of the sequel is exciting news, there is also concern that Colossal Order may remove Cities Skylines content to offer it later as Cities Skylines 2 DLC. Colossal Order has previously expanded the first game with numerous packs, and it would be unfortunate if that content was excluded from the sequel. Unlike Maxis’ The Sims series that releases a Seasons and Pets DLC for every Sims game, Colossal Order need not follow the same approach when it comes to Cities Skylines content.
